Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening Course in Kensington and Chelsea. Classes run at Morley College London Chelsea Campus, part-time during the day. You'll practise communicating more fluently, understanding everyday expressions, and giving short presentations. If you've passed ESOL Level 1, you can enrol directly. Otherwise, you'll take an initial assessment to confirm the right level for you.
Who this course is for
This course is for you: if you would like to communicate more fluently if you would like to give a short presentation if you would like to have a better understanding of English expressions if you would like to improve your ability to read about a wider range of subjects if you would write formally or informally with accuracy In this course, you will develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Level 2 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Level 2, Reading Level 2 and Writing Level 2.

You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. - Or if you have passed ESOL Level 1, you may enrol onto this course.

How you will learn
Classes are delivered face-to-face at the Chelsea Campus. Each term covers all four skills, speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a focus on the skill being assessed that term. Assessment is through a City and Guilds exam in speaking and listening at Level 2. Your tutor will use classroom activities, discussion, and practice tasks to prepare you for the assessment.
