A creative course, which will provide you with an introduction to safely using a variety of different printmaking techniques and materials, enabling you to gain a range of knowledge and skills in printmaking. This will include exploring the etching process using both soft and hard ground and also screen printing.
You will learn how to develop ideas through research and exploration of a range of printing techniques. Throughout the course you will produce a sketchbook/portfolio of work, which will include your experimental work, personal ideas for developmental work, final outcomes and working notes.
Important:
Please be aware that this course is a generic qualification used to deliver this specific subject. However, it is also used to deliver other subjects and for this reason learners who do more than one arts or crafts course at the same level may not be funded or certificated for the subsequent course(s). Cornwall Adult Education will carry out checks for each application and will contact learners if there is an issue.
