Level 1 Floristry Creative Craft Course in Liskeard – Cornwall Adult Education

Who this course is for

A creative course, which will provide you with an introduction to safely using a variety of different textile techniques and materials, enabling you to gain a range of knowledge and skills in textiles. This will include exploring fabric dyeing & painting, printing and surface pattern, hand and free machine embroidery, applique. The course is divided into three units:

• Exploring Resources: using different materials, tools and equipment.
• Explore Craft Ideas: looking at the work of others to inspire and develop design ideas.
• Create Present and Review final outcome: within this unit learners plan, produce and evaluate their final piece of work.

Please be aware that this course is a generic qualification used to deliver this specific subject. However, it is also used to deliver other subjects and for this reason learners who do more than one arts or crafts course at the same level may not be funded or certificated for the subsequent course(s). Cornwall Adult Education will carry out checks for each application and will contact learners if there is a funding issue.
