Free Maths Course Entry Level 2 in Grays. Classes run at TCHC Thurrock GAPS Centre, full-time during the day. This free maths course covers measure, shape and space at Entry Level 2. You'll study for around 60 hours in the classroom. The course covers using common measures, shape and space alongside number skills and handling data. You'll also get support with everyday budgeting. Assessment includes a calculator and a non-calculator exam. Note: you must be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to join this course.
Who this course is for
Young people aged 16-18 (and 16-24 with an EHCP) who would like to gain a qualification in maths.

You'll use numbers and the number system in everyday contexts.
You'll handle and interpret data and information.

How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at TCHC Thurrock GAPS Centre. Teaching covers three areas: number skills, measures and shape, and handling data. Assessment is by two exams, one where you can use a calculator and one where you cannot. You'll also receive support with practical budgeting as part of your learning.
