Free Level 3 Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes Course. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, fitting study around your existing commitments. Over 12 weeks, you'll cover the types of diabetes, their causes, and the signs and symptoms to look out for. The course is designed for people working in health and social care who want a deeper understanding of diabetes care and management. This free understanding the care and management of diabetes course for adults is funded through the Adult Skills Fund for eligible learners aged 19 and over.
Who this course is for
The Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes is designed to help provide those working in the health and social care sector to have a better understanding of the types, causes, sign and symptoms of diabetes.
Entry requirements
Aged 19+ as of 31st August 2024. Currently live in England and lived in the EU for 3 years. Funded Via the Adult Skills Funded Free Courses for Jobs. You must be either unemployed or in employment but earning below the low wage threshold of £25,000 or are aged 19-23 with a prior attainment below level 3 to be eligible to undertake this free online course.

How you will learn
You'll study entirely online, working through course materials at your own pace. Assessment is by written assignments or knowledge-based questions completed online. There are no exams to sit in person. CT Skills will confirm the specific assessment tasks before you begin.
