About this course

Free Level 2 Principles of End of Life Care Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your life.

The course takes around 10 weeks. You'll learn how to support people approaching the end of their lives, including how to manage pain and discomfort. The course also covers how dementia affects end of life care, and how to support families through grief and loss.

You'll finish with an NCFE Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care.

Who this course is for

Our Principles of End-of-Life Care course will prepare you to care for people approaching the end of their lives. In addition to learning how to support and manage pain and discomfort, you will gain insight into how dementia impacts end-of-life care. Additionally, you will learn how to support family and friends through grief and loss.

Entry requirements

Aged 19+ as of 31st August 2024. Lived in the EU for 3 years. Available fully funded. Do not hold the same qualification.

How you will learn

You'll study online through written learning materials and activities. Assessment is through written assignments or questions that you complete at home. There are no exams to sit in person. You submit your work online, and a tutor will mark and give feedback on it.

CT Skills will confirm anything you need before you start. Most materials are provided online as part of the course.
