Level 2 Principles of End of Life Care Course in Blackpool. Classes run at Bispham Campus, part-time during the day over 10 weeks.

The course covers how to support people at the end of their life with dignity and compassion. You'll explore pain and discomfort management, the impact of dementia, and the emotional side of loss and bereavement. It also looks at the care worker's role at the time of death and how to provide person-centred support to individuals and their families.

You'll finish with an NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care.

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Bispham Campus. The qualification is assessed through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks. There are no exams. Your work will be marked against the NCFE qualification standards.
