About this course

Free Level 2 Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Needs Course. Study online, at your own pace, without travelling to a centre. The course takes around 10 weeks and covers the role of the mental health worker, how to support people experiencing mental ill-health, and duty of care in adult health and social care settings. This free understanding working with people with mental health needs course for adults is fully funded for eligible learners aged 19 and over. You'll finish with an NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Needs.

Who this course is for

Our Working with People with Mental Health Needs free online course will introduce you to working with people with mental health needs. It will provide you with an understanding of the role of the mental health worker, care, and support of those who suffer with mental ill-health and duty of care in adult health and social care.

Entry requirements

Aged 19+ as of 31st August 2024. Lived in the EU for 3 years. Available fully funded. Do not hold the same qualification.

How you will learn

You'll study entirely online, working through course materials at a pace that suits you. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks completed online. You submit your work digitally, and a tutor will review and mark it. There are no exams to sit in person.

CT Skills will confirm anything you need before you start. Most learners need a device with internet access to complete the online study and submit assignments.
