About this course

Level 2 Sport Course in Manchester. Classes run at Tameside Skills Centre, full-time during the day over 30 weeks. The course is free if you are 16 to 18 years old, or aged 19 to 24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan. Fees may apply for other learners.

You will study the sport, fitness and active leisure sector. The course builds practical skills alongside employability skills that employers value. You will also develop knowledge of coaching, health, and physical activity to support your next steps.

You will finish with a Gateway Qualifications Level 2 Certificate in Sport, Fitness and Active Leisure.
