About this course

Level 2 Sport Course in Wigan. Classes run at Wigan Skills Centre, full-time during the day. The course is free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over with an Education, Health and Care Plan, fees may not apply. Contact the centre to check your eligibility.

The course covers the sport, fitness and active leisure sector. You'll develop practical skills alongside employability skills valued by employers. The course runs for around 30 weeks. There are no formal entry requirements, so you can join without prior qualifications.

You'll finish with a Gateway Qualifications Level 2 Award in Sport, Fitness and Active Leisure.
