Free Level 2 Site Carpentry Course in Oldham. Classes run full-time during the day at Oldham College. You'll need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including maths and English, or a Level 1 vocational qualification with GCSE grade D/3 in both maths and English. Functional Skills Level 1 in English and maths is also accepted. The course runs for 588 hours and covers the practical and technical skills carpenters use on site.

How you will learn
You'll learn through practical workshop sessions and classroom teaching. Assessment includes practical tasks where you demonstrate carpentry skills, along with written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence showing the work you've completed. Assessment is set by City and Guilds and marked against the requirements of the Diploma.
