Free Level 2 Bricklaying Course in Oldham. Classes run at Oldham College, full-time during the day. To start, you'll need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including maths and English, or a Level 1 vocational qualification with GCSE grade D/3 in both maths and English. Functional Skills Level 1 in maths and English is also accepted. The course runs for 588 hours and covers the practical and technical skills needed to work as a bricklayer.

What you will learn
You'll lay bricks and blocks to construct walls, piers, and other structures.

How you will learn
You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a workshop environment alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment includes practical tasks where you demonstrate bricklaying skills to set standards, as well as written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
