Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Northallerton. Evening classes run at Skipton Adult Learning & Skills Service, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. The course runs over 15 weeks, part-time. You'll build a solid understanding of mental health conditions, how they affect people, and how to respond with care and confidence. Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn
Classes are delivered in a classroom setting on weekday evenings. Learning is tutor-led, with group discussion and written activities. Assessment is through written assignments or short-answer tasks that you complete as part of the course. There are no formal exams. You'll have an initial assessment before you start to confirm the course is the right level for you.

The centre will provide most materials. Skipton Adult Learning & Skills Service will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need basic IT skills to access any online elements of the course.
