Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Ripon. Classes run at Ripon Community House Ripon, part-time during the day. The course runs over 15 weeks, making it manageable alongside other commitments. You'll build a solid understanding of mental health conditions, how they affect people, and how to respond with care and confidence. You'll need basic IT skills to take part. You'll finish with an NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn
Learning takes place in the classroom at Ripon Community House Ripon. You'll work through topics with a tutor and take part in group discussions. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge checks that you complete during the course. You'll have an initial assessment before you start to confirm that Level 2 Mental Health Awareness is the right level for you.

The centre will provide most materials. Ripon Community House Ripon will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need basic IT skills to access any online elements of the course.
