Free Level 2 Maths Course in Malton. Evening maths classes run at Malton Adult Learning and Skills Service, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. This course builds your maths skills and leads to a recognised maths qualification, without a formal exam. The course runs over 55 hours part-time. You'll need to be 19 or over to be eligible for funding, and you must not already hold a Level 2 or higher maths qualification. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm this is the right level for you.

You'll work with numbers, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.

You'll interpret and use data, charts, and graphs.
You'll apply maths to everyday situations such as money, time, and measurement.
You'll develop the accuracy and checking skills needed to complete maths tasks confidently.
How you will learn
Classes are classroom-based and run in the evening at Malton Adult Learning and Skills Service. Learning is assessed through coursework and portfolio-based tasks rather than a formal exam. Your tutor will work through topics with you in class, and you'll complete tasks that demonstrate your skills as you progress through the course.
