Level 2 Computer Course in Norwich. Classes run at City College Norwich, part-time during the day.

The course is free if you are 16 to 18 years old on 31 August before your course starts. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply. You'll build practical digital skills that employers look for across many industries. The course runs over 18 weeks, with three hours of classroom time each week and some online homework. You'll cover how digital tools are used in the workplace and develop the skills and habits employers value.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Award in Digital and IT Skills.

Who this course is for

The Award in Digital and IT Skills is a part-time course that runs for 18 weeks. It is designed for those who want to develop and extend their digital skills to prepare for employment in a number of industries. It is a daytime course, which is three hours long with additional online homework set each week. The qualification gives you an opportunity to develop an understanding of the importance of digital skills in the workplace, and the actual skills and characteristics desired by employers. You will study two units -. Using Digital Technologies and Social Media Marketing.

Entry requirements

A reasonable knowledge of IT skills is expected. Ideally, you will have completed the Level 1 Digital and IT Functional Skills course, otherwise you will be required to take an initial assessment to assess your prior knowledge in digital skills.
