About this course

Level 2 BTEC Certificate in ESports Course in Nottingham. Classes run at Nottingham College City Hub, full-time during the day. Students aged 16 to 18 years old do not pay tuition fees. If you are 19 or over, you may still be eligible for funding.

This BTEC esports qualification takes one year to complete. You'll study four units covering esports games, teams and tournaments, how to set up an esports organisation, streaming, and planning live events. The course is endorsed by The British Esports Association. You'll also develop communication, ICT, literacy, and numeracy skills throughout.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Certificate in ESports.

This qualification is for you if you are looking to progress to employment in the esports industry, possibly via an apprenticeship in a related industry, or if your aspirations may be to progress to further education.

Entry requirements

Youll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3, including English Language and maths (Functional Skills Level 1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 3 and Functional Skills Level 2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4.
