About this course

Level 2 Networking and Cybersecurity Course in Nottingham. Classes run at Nottingham College City Hub, full-time during the day. Students aged 16 to 18 years old do not pay tuition fees. If you are 19 or over, you may still be eligible for funding. Contact the college to find out more. This networking and cybersecurity qualification covers how to set up and configure technology systems, protect IT systems from security risks, and install and maintain networks. You'll also learn how organisations use current and emerging technologies. The course takes one year and combines classroom learning with hands-on computer work.

Entry requirements

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3 (A*-D), including English Language and Maths – one of English Language or Maths must be grade 9-4 (A*-C).

Functional Skills Level 1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 3 (D) and Functional Skills Level 2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above.
