Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.
What you will learn
You'll set up and navigate a computerised accounting system using Sage.
You'll process customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
You'll process supplier invoices and payments.
You'll reconcile bank statements within the software.
You'll produce financial reports such as trial balances and activity reports.
You'll manage ledger accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
How you will learn
You'll study through a combination of classroom-based sessions and distance learning tasks completed in your own time. Assessment is practical and computer-based, using Sage accounting software to complete real tasks. You'll be assessed on your ability to process transactions, reconcile accounts, and produce reports accurately within the software.
