Free AAT Level 2 Certificate Accounting Course in Selby. Classes run at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time during the day. You'll start with the daily bookkeeping tasks that keep a business running. The course covers manual double entry bookkeeping, the documents and processes that go with it, and takes you through to Trial Balance. Sessions are four hours, making it manageable alongside other commitments.
Who this course is for
The aim of this qualification is to introduce you to daily bookkeeping tasks.
You will develop skills and knowledge to manage books effectively. It includes manual double entry bookkeeping, associated documents and processes, up to Trial Balance.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service, with a tutor guiding you through bookkeeping theory and practice. Assessment for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is through computer-based exams set by AAT. You'll sit these when you're ready. Classroom sessions give you the chance to practise tasks and ask questions as you go.
