Free GCSE Maths course in Loughborough. Classes run at Main Campus on a part-time daytime basis, making it manageable alongside other commitments. You'll study one day a week and cover the full Pearson Edexcel GCSE (9-1) in Mathematics curriculum over one year. A GCSE Maths qualification at grade 4 or above is recognised by employers and universities as the standard benchmark in numeracy. Who this course is for

This is a part time City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy vocational course taught by lecturers who are experts in the beauty sector. As this is a part time intensive course, commitment to home study will be required. You begin by practicing on one another to develop your skills. You will then progress to external clients which further enhances your skills and prepares you for either Level 3 or industry. Optional additional courses are offered throughout the year for example gel nails and brow lamination.

Entry requirements

Level 2 or equivalent in English. The course leader will arrange a telephone interview with all interested candidates to ensure the course is right for them. All candidates must be aged 19 or older before the start of the programme. *Courses will run subject to sufficient numbers. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. How you will learn

Classes are classroom based, one day a week at Main Campus in Loughborough. You'll learn through taught sessions, worked examples, and practice questions. Assessment is by written examinations set by Pearson Edexcel: three papers in total, one non-calculator and two calculator. There is no coursework component. Your progress will be tracked throughout the year to help you prepare for the final exams.
