About this course

GCSE Maths in Lewes. Classes run at East Sussex College Group Lewes Campus, part-time during the day.

If you're 19 or over and haven't already passed GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above, the course may be fully funded for you. Fees may apply otherwise. You'll study number skills, algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, geometry, probability, graphs, and data handling. The course runs over 30 weeks. Most students sit the foundation tier exams, but a higher tier option is also available.

You'll finish with a GCSE in Mathematics.

How you will learn

Classes are delivered in a classroom at the Lewes Campus. You'll be assessed by three final exams at the end of the course. One paper is non-calculator. Two papers allow a calculator. Each exam lasts 90 minutes. Your scores from all three papers are combined to give your final grade.
