Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in York. Evening classes run at Explore York Library Learning Centre, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. The course runs over 33 weeks part-time. This level 2 functional skills maths qualification is the recognised GCSE maths equivalent: when employers ask for GCSE Maths grade 4 or above, Functional Skills Level 2 meets that requirement. What you will learn

How you will learn

Classes are held in the evening at Explore York Library Learning Centre. You'll learn through a mix of tutor-led sessions and practice exercises in the classroom. Assessment is by a written exam set by City and Guilds, covering both calculator and non-calculator sections. You'll need to pass both to earn the qualification.
