Free Entry Level ESOL Skills for Life (reading) Course in Wandsworth. Evening classes run at LIBS Training, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. This course builds your English reading skills for everyday situations: reading letters, forms, health and safety information, and transport signs. You'll cover practical tasks like using a dictionary and reading correspondence from schools or GP surgeries. The course runs for 48 hours part-time. Before you start, you'll complete an initial assessment; you'll need to have achieved an Entry Level 2 ESOL Reading qualification or equivalent, or score at working towards Entry Level 3 in that assessment.
Who this course is for
This course is for individuals that have little or some English reading skills. You will learn how to read simple English to help you go about your daily life. You will learn how to read basic forms, use a dictionary, read a letter from your surgery and any letters from your child�s school. You will be able to read basic health & safety and transport information.
Entry requirements
You will need to complete an initial assessment before registration on the course. You must have achieved an Entry Level 2 ESOL Reading qualification (or equivalent), prior to the course or score at working towards Entry level 3 in your initial assessment.

You'll also complete an initial assessment before the course starts, and an Information, Advice and Guidance session to make sure the course is the right fit for you.
