Free Entry Level English Skills Course in Oldham. Evening classes run at Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, so you can fit study around your week. We offer a range of English Courses and qualifications to suit your needs and help you to gain skills to increase your employment prospects at a pace and time to suit you. You can improve your English skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification from Entry 1 up to Level 2. These can provide a stepping stone towards an English Language GCSE.

You'll learn in a classroom at Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, with a tutor guiding each session. Learning is practical and based around everyday reading, writing, and communication tasks. Assessment is ongoing through short tasks and written activities completed during the course. There is no formal exam.
