Entry requirements

You must be aged 19+ to apply for this course.

Your experience and level of study will be assessed at interview and this will determine your offer of a place at College.

You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grades 9 - 4 /A* - C including English and maths (equivalents may be considered), or Level 2 BTEC Diploma in a related subject at Merit. Plus a relevant portfolio of work or a demonstrated passion for the subject area. A GCSE in Maths and English is preferable.

How you will learn

An initial assessment at interview determines your starting point, whether that is the Introduction to Access course, a Pre-Access route, or the full Access Diploma. You'll also have the opportunity to exhibit your work at an end-of-year showcase.

The centre will provide most materials. Nottingham College Adams Building will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need to bring a portfolio of relevant work, or be able to demonstrate a passion for the subject area, as part of your application.
