A Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician repairs light vehicles such as cars and vans and works either in dealerships that focus on a particular manufacturer, or for an independent garage that deals with many different makes of vehicles.
Entry requirements
To join you'll need to be seeking or already in employment. You must already have or expect to achieve ?grades C or above in Maths and English. Some employers may require you sit an aptitude test as well as an interview and be capable of ultimately learning higher level skills.
