Level 4 IQA Course in Newcastle. Classes run at Newcastle College, part-time during the day. This level 4 IQA qualification runs over 15 weeks and is designed for people already working in assessment and quality assurance. You'll need to hold a relevant Level 3 subject qualification, an assessor qualification such as TAQA Level 3 Certificate or V1, access to at least two assessors, and a qualified Lead IQA to support you. Also required is an assessor qualification such as TAQA Level 3 Certificate or V1. You must also demonstrate that you are working at L2 in literacy. In addition you must have access to at least two assessors and have a proven track record of assessing and quality assurance. Finally you will need a qualified Lead IQA to support you during the course.

How you will learn
You'll attend classroom-based sessions at Newcastle College. Assessment is through a portfolio of evidence drawn from your workplace practice, including observations of your IQA activity, professional discussions, and written records. You'll be supported by a qualified Lead IQA throughout the course. Evidence must demonstrate that you are actively carrying out internal quality assurance with at least two assessors.

The centre will provide most materials. Newcastle College will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need access to a working IQA role with at least two assessors, and a qualified Lead IQA who can support your practice during the course.
