About this course

Level 3 Nail Technician Course in Leeds. Classes run at The White Rose School of Beauty Leeds, during the day on a flexible timetable. Funding options are available and will be discussed at interview, so fees may or may not apply depending on your circumstances. This nail technician qualification covers the full range of skills and knowledge needed to work as a nail technician. The course runs to 156 hours in total. You'll need a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy or nail services, or you'll complete a skills test and interview to confirm you're ready. You must be 16 or over to enrol.

Who this course is for

This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years and over and will support you to gain employment as a nail technician, as the units contained in the qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.

Entry requirements

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy or nail services and/or a successful skills test and interview. You must be 16 or over to do this course via apprentice routes or 19 and over to complete this course via access to Advanced Learner Loans.

How you will learn

Learning is classroom-based with hands-on practical sessions at The White Rose School of Beauty Leeds. Assessment includes practical observations, where you'll demonstrate treatments on clients or models, alongside written or knowledge-based assessments. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the qualification.
