Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage Course in Leeds. Classes run at The White Rose School of Beauty Leeds, daytime on a flexible schedule. The course runs for 312 hours and covers the skills and knowledge needed to work as a beauty massage therapist. You'll learn body massage, Indian head massage, and how to plan and deliver treatments safely. You must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in the beauty industry, or relevant prerequisite qualifications, to enrol.

Who this course is for

This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 or over and will support you to gain employment as a beauty massage therapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Throughout this qualification you will monitor procedures to safely control work operations, contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities, provide body massage treatments, provide Indian head massage, carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils and provide stone therapy treatments

Entry requirements

You must have achieved a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in the Beauty industry or have some pre-requisite qualifications to enable you to complete the course to its full potential. This will be discussed upon an initial interview with our recruitment team. You must be 16 or over to do this course via apprentice routes or 19 and over to complete this course via access to Advanced Learner Loans.

How you will learn

You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in the classroom alongside knowledge-based study. Assessment for the VTCT NVQ Diploma is competency-based, combining observed practical assessments, written assignments, and portfolio evidence gathered throughout the course. Your assessor will observe you carrying out treatments and review your knowledge to confirm you've met the required standards.
