Level 3 Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations Course. Work-based training at your workplace. This is a five-day course for electricians already working in the trade who need to verify and certify electrical installations before they go into service. You'll cover safe isolation of circuits and installations, testing before circuits are energised, and testing energised installations. The course also covers the full requirements for initial verification and safe commissioning. It's a practical, focused qualification that sits alongside your day-to-day electrical work.

How you will learn
Training takes place over five days in a work-based setting. Learning is delivered through practical instruction covering testing procedures, safe isolation, and certification requirements. Assessment is based on the City and Guilds Level 3 Award specification. You'll be assessed on your knowledge and practical understanding of initial verification and certification processes.
