Level 3 Health and Social Care Course in Bristol. Classes run at College Green Centre, full-time during the day. This is a one-year course that covers health and social care in depth, including time in real care settings one day a week. You'll spend time in elderly care and vulnerable care environments as part of your studies. The course is equivalent to three A Levels, so it opens doors to university as well as roles in the sector. Entry requires five GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language, or a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in a related subject at Merit grade.

Are you are interested in a career in health and social care such as social work or nursing? Thiscourse has been designed to give you in-depth knowledge of health and social care and develop your skills to work with people in care settings. It is equivalent to 3 A Levels and will allow you to progress to jobs in the sector or university. You will study a wide range of topics and will spend one day a week in a range of settings including elderly care and vulnerable care.

One day each week is spent on placement in care settings, which forms a core part of the qualification. There are no written exams for every unit, but some units include timed assessments.
