Level 3 Hairdressing Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train in a salon while working full time as an apprentice, earning as you develop your skills. Over 24 months, you'll cover advanced cutting, advanced colour, corrective colour, and health and safety. You'll need a Level 2 Hair Professional qualification or equivalent experience, plus Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE Maths and English (grade A - C) if you don't already hold a proxy qualification.
Who this course is for
Advanced hair professional in hairdressing Apprenticeship - you will be employed full time in a salon earning the NMW for Apprentices.
Duties will include junior stylist services - you will be recieving theory and practical training to upskill the services you can offer to become an advanced apprentice at L3. You may need functional skils at L2 if you don't have a proxy qualification.

Hair professional L2 or equivilent experience - functional skills or GCSE in Math or English A-C grade.

You'll apply health and safety practices relevant to a working salon environment.

How you will learn
You learn on the job in a salon setting, combining practical work with theory training. Assessment is through observed practical performance in the workplace and knowledge-based tasks. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through each unit, covering areas such as advanced cutting, advanced colour, corrective colour, and health and safety.
