Level 3 Car Mechanic Course in Blackpool. Classes run at Bispham Campus, part-time during the day, one and a half days per week over one year. The course builds on existing motor vehicle knowledge and focuses on fault diagnostics, the technical skill at the heart of modern mechanic and technician work. To join, you must be aged 19 or over before September and have completed a relevant Level 2 qualification or have at least one year of industry experience.

This Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course is designed to help you further develop your learning to industry-standards and focuses on the fault diagnostic aspects required of a modern-day Motor Mechanic or Motor Vehicle Technician.

Entry requirements

Mandatory entry requirements: You must be aged at least 19 before the course starts in September; You must have successfully completed a relevant Level 2 qualification, or have at least 1 years industry experience; You must be able to attend one and a half days per/week. Please note: Where wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is a mandatory requirement of the course, it is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that they are able to wear such equipment.
