About this course

Level 2 Sport Course in Maidenhead. Classes run at Berkshire College of Agriculture, full-time during the day.

The course runs over 35 weeks. You'll study a mix of practical and theory units covering core sports topics. Practical units help you develop your own skills and learn to support others. Theory units build the knowledge that underpins work in the sports industry. The course covers areas such as coaching, fitness, and sports development.

You'll need five GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or maths at grade 4. All applicants complete an academic interview. You'll finish with an NCFE Diploma in Sport at Level 2.

Who this course is for

The Level 2 in Outdoor Education is a hands-on course which will equip students with the confidence and knowledge to assist in leading outdoor adventurous activities. This qualification is ideal for learners who are interested in pursuing a career in the sport or outdoor education industry. The course is delivered by experienced Lecturers in sports and outdoor education. The units are taught via a multitude of engaging and exciting methods including, role plays, guest speakers, trips and expedition alongside traditional lectures and interactive online learning. Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and maths or a Level 1 Diploma in Sport at a Merit/Distinction grade with GCSE English or maths at grade 3 or above will also be considered.
