Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Northampton. Classes run at Northampton College Lower Mounts, on weekday evenings from 17:30 to 20:30. Fee waivers may be available for eligible learners. The course is open to mature applicants.

This hairdressing qualification covers consultation, shampooing and conditioning, cutting, styling, and colouring. You'll also study health and safety and working in the industry. The course runs over 9 months, part-time. You'll need to set aside around four hours a week for home study on top of classes.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Women's Hairdressing.

Entry requirements

You must be able to commit to at least three hours per week to attend class plus four hours of home study; have a good level of written and spoken English and be able to use a computer to access the internet, send emails and use basic word applications.
