About this course

Level 2 Functional Skills Maths Course in Earlswood. Classes run at Floorskills Training Centre, delivered as part of an apprenticeship programme on a day or block release basis. This level 2 functional skills maths qualification is offered to apprentices who do not already hold an equivalent qualification. Funding may be available within the overall apprenticeship framework, though this depends on your circumstances. The course typically takes 18 months. You'll start with an initial assessment and a diagnostic assessment to identify any gaps and confirm the right level for you. This is the recognised GCSE maths equivalent for apprentices and employers.

Who this course is for

Level 2 mathematics delivered within apprenticeship programme. Level 2 is offered to learners without an equivalent qualification and where only minimum requirements have already been met. An initial assessment and Diagnostic assessment will be taken at the start of the programme in order to see what level the student is working towards and if there are any skills gaps, this may be developed by completing a project whilst on block release, there is a specialist Functional Skills available in centre who will carry out sessions relating to upskilling gaps up to level 2 standard. It may be possible to use a previous awarded qualification as an exception for Maths, this would need to be at the correct level and accepted by Ace certs.
