About this course

Level 2 Children and Young People's Mental Health Course. Study online, at your own pace, over 24 weeks. You use textbooks and complete assessments electronically, so you can fit the children and young people's mental health qualification around work, family, or other commitments. You'll need good IT skills and reliable internet access, whether at home, at work, or in a library. The course deepens your understanding of mental health issues affecting children and young people, and how those issues present in real settings. It can support progression into health and social care roles or further study.

This course is designed to support 19+ learners progress into employment or further learning, depending on your own needs and interests.

You will need good IT skills and access to a computer, laptop or tablet with regular and reliable internet connection. This can be at home, at work, or in a library. A tutor reviews your work and sends written feedback on your progress. They also suggest additional learning activities to help you build the knowledge you need. There are no classroom sessions. You work through the material at your own pace, supported by tutor contact throughout.
