Functional Skills Maths Level 1 in Tower Hamlets. Classes run at New City College Poplar Campus, full-time during the day. This level 1 functional skills maths course runs for 44 weeks. You'll cover the maths skills used in everyday life and work, from working with numbers and fractions to interpreting data and solving practical problems. It's a recognised step toward a GCSE maths alternative at Level 2, and many employers and colleges accept it as evidence of solid maths ability.
