About this course

Free Teaching Assistant Course in Rotherham. Classes run at Rotherham College. Daytime sessions run part-time over 12 weeks, making it manageable alongside other commitments. You'll cover the skills and knowledge needed to support learning in a school environment, from understanding how schools work to helping pupils in the classroom. Youll need good basic maths skills, enjoy working with your hands and like being part of a team.

Entry requirements

2 to 3 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including English and maths or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications. A level 1 qualification in brickwork or craft masonry, or relevant work experience is also acceptable.
