About this course

NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing Course in Abingdon. Evening classes run at Abingdon and Witney College Abingdon Campus, full-time over one week. If you are 16 to 18 years old, the course may be free. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply. This level 3 NVQ hairdressing qualification covers the skills you need to work professionally in a salon, from cutting and colouring to client consultation and styling. To join, you need five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English or Maths, plus a Level 2 pass in the subject with Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English or Maths AND a pass in the subject at level 2 with English and Maths not lower than a grade 3/Functional Skills L2 and at least grade 4 in one of English or Maths.
