About this course

Free Level 4 IQA Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You carry out internal quality assurance as part of your current role, learning while you work. This free IQA course is for people who check assessment practice within their organisation. You'll need to have already completed the Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment before you start. The course runs for up to 12 months.

How you will learn

You'll learn through your day-to-day work, applying internal quality assurance practice in your own organisation. Assessment is work-based and evidence-led. You'll build a portfolio of evidence drawn from your real IQA activity, showing how you plan, monitor, and evaluate assessment practice. Your assessor will observe your practice and review your evidence against the qualification standards.
