About this course

Free Level 4 HNC Performing Arts Course in Welwyn Garden City. Classes run full-time at Oaklands College Welwyn Garden City Campus. This is an intensive, full-year programme focused on triple threat training across singing, acting, and dance. The course runs over 36 weeks and is built around the demands of the professional entertainment industry, where performers are expected to work across multiple disciplines. The second year centres on industry-level performance work. To apply, you'll need a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts or three A Levels, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

Who this course is for

Musical Theatre as a genre, whilst being the most challenging, is also one of the biggest employers of performers within the Entertainment Industry. Most auditions / jobs that surface often require performers who are able to deliver in more than one performance discipline. This course is designed to meet this demand with a full first year of intense triple threat training and a ground breaking second year that focuses on professional industry work based performance.

Students study the HND over two years of which an HNC is the first year. The course is practical in the main, developing and nurturing all three disciplines of performance; Acting, Song and Dance.
