About this course

Free Level 2 Performing and Production Arts Course in Welwyn Garden City. Classes run at Oaklands College Welwyn Garden City Campus, full-time during the day.

You'll study acting, dance, and singing across nine units over 36 weeks. You'll work from scripts and devise your own performances. The course builds toward a series of public shows, fusing song, dance, and acting together. You'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, or a Level 1 qualification, plus a grade 4 in Maths or English.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.

Who this course is for

This course provides a wide-ranging opportunity to begin to develop and expand your skills in performing and production arts. Across a packed year and nine units you will study acting, dance and singing and make use of the skills you develop in a series of exciting public performances. You will work from scripts and may also devise some of your performances. The course is an exciting journey fusing song, dance, acting and your imagination in a celebration of your potential and the diversity of talent in your company.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9 � 3 OR a Level 1 qualification AND a grade 4 in either Maths or English
