About this course

Free Level 3 Team Leader Training. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your work and other commitments. The course takes 12 months and is designed for people currently working as, or moving into, a team leader, supervisor, or first line manager role. You'll need Maths and English at GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent), plus current or upcoming experience in a team leader role. Topics cover managing and developing team members, planning workloads, delivering operational plans, and building working relationships.

Who this course is for

This course is suitable for current or aspiring Managers, Team Leaders or Supervisors in a first line management role, either with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team.

Your responsibilities might include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally. If you don’t currently do these things, you will need to agree opportunities to do so during this course - we can advise further.

It will be useful for those who want to strengthen their current practice, or who aspire to become leaders of the future. There is a strong work-based element to this course, and you will be working towards a professional qualification and an apprenticeship at the same time.

Throughout this programme you will gain a detailed understanding of leadership and management practices that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
