Free Level 3 Spectator Safety Course. Work-based training at your workplace, so you learn while you earn.

You'll need to be based in the WMCA region to access the funded route. The course confirms your occupational competence in spectator safety and builds the knowledge and skills needed to supervise safely at events. It typically takes around four months to complete.

You'll finish with a Highfield Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision at Level 3.

Entry requirements

Any learners undertaking the optional unit Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry must be aged 18 and over prior to delivery.

Any learners undertaking the optional unit Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry are likely to be required to make calls to the emergency services and communicate clearly to resolve conflict so therefore need to demonstrate a suitable level of English competency.

If you choose the optional unit on physical intervention skills, you must be aged 18 or over and will need to demonstrate a suitable level of English to communicate clearly in conflict situations.
