Free Level 3 Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You learn while you work, with an individually agreed programme of on and off the job learning. The specialist support for teaching and learning in schools qualification is designed for experienced school support workers moving into more specialised roles, covering learning support, administration, and management. The course typically takes 15 months, with workplace visits agreed individually. Prior attainment is discussed with you at enrolment.

The average course is 12-18 months; however your own length of learning will be

individually agreed.

The maximum number of workplace visits will be one visit per calendar month.

The course is available through electronic learning, giving you flexibility around your working hours. Your programme length is agreed individually, with an average of 12 to 18 months. Assessment is based on evidence gathered from your day-to-day work in school.
