About this course

Level 3 Performing and Production Arts Course in Lewes. Classes run at East Sussex College Group Lewes Campus, full-time over two years.

The course focuses on dance performance, technique, choreography, and body conditioning. You'll work across Contemporary, Jazz, and Commercial styles. The course also introduces you to professional rehearsal standards and industry practice. Workshops and trips to London and New York are part of the programme. Assessment is through practical performance projects, written coursework, group critique, and an externally set task.

You'll need a GCSE grade 4 in English Language or Maths, and a successful audition. You'll finish with a University of the Arts London Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.

Our popular performance course is now available as a single option, worth 1.5 A-Levels whilst allowing you to take two other A-Levels alongside it.This exciting, performance-centred course will give you the chance to explore a range of techniques, genres, and processes relevant to the creative industries while supporting your artistic ambitions in Acting. Designed to prepare you for the acting industry in all the routes it can take you.

A GCSE grade 4 in English Language and grade 4 in Drama (if taken).

You'll also complete a controlled externally set assessment. Self-assessment and peer critique are built into the programme throughout.
