About this course

Level 2 Music Performance and Production Course in Lewes. Classes run at East Sussex College Group Lewes Campus, part-time during the day.

The course runs over one year. You'll study eight units covering performance, production, composition, and listening skills. You'll work in studios, rehearse, record, and collaborate on a final project. No written exams are involved. Assessment is through practical projects that let you show what you can do. You'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, or completion of the Level 1 course, plus basic ability on a musical instrument.

You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Music Performance and Production, awarded by University of the Arts London.

Entry requirements

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English and/or maths at grade 3. Basic ability on a musical instrument.
