Free Level 3 Hairdressing Course in Welwyn Garden City. Classes run at Oaklands College Welwyn Garden City Campus one day per week, making it manageable alongside other commitments. Over 23 weeks, you'll develop advanced cutting, colouring, and styling techniques for women's hair, along with client consultation skills. Entry requires a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (including maths and English), or a full Level 2 with a merit profile and equivalent English and maths grades.

Who this course is for

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Women�s Hairdressing has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level through a variety of techniques such as the creative art of cutting women�s hair, the artistic skill of colouring, imaginative dexterity of styling and dressing hair, and how to provide effective consultation support for colleagues.

This part tme course is one day per week over the course of the academic year.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade 9 � 4 including maths and English or a full Level 2 with a merit profile and grades 9 � 4 in English & maths. Professional Reference

Assessment is a mix of practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out techniques to a set standard, and knowledge-based assessments that test your understanding of hairdressing principles, colour science, and client care.
